Mrs. Mills-Allen started her 21st year as an educator in 2024 by becoming the new Principal of SGES. She spent 14 years teaching 3rd grade, first at Arlington Elementary School in Arlington, TN, and later here at NGES and MGES. Mrs. Mills-Allen was named Maple Grove's Teacher of the Year for 2017–18 and also served as the Assistant Principal for Maple Grove for six years before transitioning to her role as Principal at SGES.

Mrs. Mills-Allen has a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Franklin College and a master's degree in Elementary Administration and Supervision from the University of Memphis. She and her husband, Chris, are raising two daughters who are students in the Center Grove district.
